Voicing Our Concerns
October 15, 2021 @ 6:00pm – Virtual Event
Whether it’s a call to the cops to protect your family from harm, or asking a judge for a restraining order, sometimes the only option we have to stay safe is to talk to law enforcement to try to get help. This can be stressful and scary when we have had violent or negative interactions with law enforcement in the past, or when our communities have a historically bad relationship with those hired to protect everyone. Caring, local professionals from the justice system are here to share their perspective and answer your questions about how you and your family can safely and effectively get the help you need if you find yourself in a situation where you need to call for help or seek legal protection.

Voices Of Those Who Stay
October 26, 2021 @ 3:00pm – Virtual Event
“Quite often victims are blamed for the abuse or harassed with the question, why don’t you just leave? Leaving isn’t as easy as you may think it is. There are many factors involved as to why someone cannot leave an abusive relationship. Along with those factors, there are many barriers that prevent someone from seeking the help that they need. We can provide the safe refuge for all survivors in their healing process and overcoming those potential barriers that make it difficult for them to escape the violence.”
October 28, 2021 @ 7:00pm – In Person Event
Our fourth annual 3/4 Time Dueling Pianos event is an opportunity to enjoy a night of music and entertainment under the moon while demonstrating your support for those who have survived violence and exploitation.
We have sold out this event for the last two years, so don’t miss your opportunity to register and be part of something magical. Let the music begin!
“A place where you can sing and be yourself.”
