Here are ways to get involved:

COVID-19 has put the survivors in our community in an unprecedented situation, one in which they are forced through social distancing guidelines and stay-at-home orders to be around the person who causes them harm almost 24/7. WTLC has experienced the effects of this development first-hand as the number of calls received by our helpline last month more than doubled the number we received at this same time last year. Donate to WTLC to help provide life-saving services to survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, who are feeling the person who causes them harm:

Share the News

Let your friends and family know that domestic violence and human trafficking doesn’t go away once people are in quarantine but in fact, is increasing. Share about #givingtuesdaynow and get them involved.

Be an Ally

Be an ally – check in on your friends and neighbors during this time. If you see something suspicious, call 911.

If you, or someone you know, are experiencing abuse and are in need of assistance, call WTLC’s 24 Hour Helpline at 1-877-533-5522 or text love@wtlc.org. In an emergency, always call 911.

Share on social media with hashtag #GivingTuesdayNow and inspire others to give together even when we’re apart.
