Home > Walk the Talk: Independent Walk to End Violence
Take your passion to end Domestic violence to the streets!
During the weekend of October 15th and 16th, we are asking our community to take a walk in the spirit of raising awareness to end domestic violence. We encourage you to make your walk special by wearing purple, making signs, bringing pets, and inviting as many friends and family members to join you.
As you walk, share with each other ways to promote healthy relationships and make a commitment to implement those ways in your lives. It can be as simple as volunteering at a DV organization- we know a great organization to volunteer with- WTLC; disrupting a conversation where bullying or negative talk about a person is happening; inviting WTLC to do a training at your work, club, or organization; joining in DVAM activities; and more!
